Over 300 UK councils have now declared climate emergencies, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2030, while the NHS must reduce carbon emissions by 80% between 2028 and 2032 to reach its goal of net zero by 2040.
Despite the complexities involved, demonstrating progress in these areas is an opportunity to build public trust, reduce costs, and secure support for future initiatives.
Initially created by the NHS for the NHS and public sector, the CEF is on hand to successfully guide public sector clients through the complex specialist processes involved in the design, funding, procurement, installation and maintenance of energy and building infrastructure upgrades.
