The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Trust (COCH) and the Carbon and Energy Fund (CEF) are pleased to announce the release of their latest Framework.
CEF Frameworks have already procured over £0.7b of projects that are delivering guaranteed savings of £1.5b and 220,000 tonnes of CO2 with 65 hospital members.
We are delighted the following companies have been selected to join the CEF’s Framework 5 – Alternative Heat, Asset Plus, CBRE, Cenergist, Centrica, E.ON, FP Hurley, ISG, Mitie, Pinnacle Power, Siemens, Veolia and Vital.
In response to changing dynamics of the energy sector, the Framework can integrate the NHS Salisbury Foundation Trust’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) which will provide the ability to procure and deal with a variety of new innovative additions to meet the ever-changing needs of the NHS, helping Trusts achieve net carbon zero by 2040.
Lee Podger, Client Relationship Manager at CEF commented “The quality of bidders this year has been exceptional. We are excited to see the diversity of new technologies such as solar car parks, electric vehicle charging, generation of geothermal heat, chemical free water treatment technologies, energy expenditure and district heating from waste, to name a few.”
The 13 contractors on Framework 5 are from the UK, US, France and Germany which will bring global innovation to the NHS. To find out more, visit us on stand A25 at the Healthcare Estates at Manchester Central on 4th and 5th October or contact the team at EOI@carbonandenergy.net.
