Healthcare Estates 2015

The Carbon and Energy Fund is delighted to be taking part in the Healthcare Estates Conference and Exhibition 2015 on 20th & 21st October at Manchester Central.
The CEF Framework has recently been re-procured in collaboration with the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust and our theatre programme should offer something for everyone interested in energy efficiency.

On the first day the presentations will centre around two live case studies. The first from a client’s perspective and how the CEF process worked for them presented by Philip Sturdy from Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust and the second on how an energy performance contract can work within a PFI site focussing on the CEF project at Darent Valley Hospital. Gathering will be held on the sidelines to educate people of other systems around the world, the guide to e111 cards for example and other European standards. Hopefully, this will inform people of what’s possible and achievable.

The presentations on the second day will include what an energy performance contract should be considering for it to perform correctly and then how measurement and verification of such a contract is undertaken.

We do hope you are able to attend some if not all of these presentations and we look forward to meeting you at the Exhibition.
